Great location close to a charming town and within walking distance to other nearby areas. the cottage had a nice old-world feel and offered enough space for a small group. the kitchen was well-equipped with a large table, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together.

Although the cottage was generally clean, there were some areas that could have been cleaner, such as food splashes on a kitchen radiator and dust on skirting boards. the single beds seemed to be on the shorter side and may not be comfortable for taller individuals.

We had a great stay at a lovely cottage in the Peak District. May Cottage was the perfect location, within walking distance to Bakewell. the cottage had a charming old world feel, with a spacious kitchen and plenty of utensils and equipment. the bedrooms were comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the huge corner bath in the bathroom. the owner even took the time to check in and make sure everything was okay. it was a relaxing and enjoyable break away from the hustle and bustle. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😔.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in this city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and easily accessible. The hotel facilities were great, including a beautiful river out back that felt like a mini-park. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant, making my stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel's location was perfect, providing a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of other hotels in the area.

    Absolutely nothing.

It was cozy and comfortable, with a fantastic bed that was a welcome retreat after long walks. The lack of internet added to the relaxing "away from it all" feeling. The owner even called at the end of my visit to check-in, which was very thoughtful. The location is a short walk from town and perfect for those without a car. a wonderful stay!

    Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The location was absolutely amazing, within walking distance to a charming town. The cottage was cozy and had a lovely natural garden with a patio table. The sun room was a great addition and the bed in the main bedroom was super comfortable. The property was roomy and had a nice old world feel to it. The kitchen was well equipped with a big table. The lack of internet added to the relaxing break and the owner even checked in to make sure everything went well.

I had a fantastic stay at May Cottage in Bakewell. The cozy stone cottage was well-maintained and had all the comforts I needed for a relaxing long weekend. The open fire and sun-filled rooms added to the homely atmosphere. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center. The internet connection was excellent, which was a big plus. I would happily return to this lovely cottage.

The room at May Cottage in Bakewell was just what I needed - cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It felt like a home away from home, with a fully equipped kitchen where I could make my own meals and a private bathroom complete with a relaxing bath or shower.

Personally, I found the bathroom a bit small, but that's just my opinion. Others might still enjoy it.

The location of the cottage is great, as it is within walking distance to the town center. the cottage itself has a nice old world feel and is cozy and well-maintained. the bedrooms are lovely and the bathroom has a separate shower and a spacious bath.

The lack of Wi-Fi at the cottage was frustrating for the teenagers.

Cosy cottage near town, with log burner, sun room, and good internet. Suitable for four people and walking distance to attractions. Detached and roomy with lovely bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. Ideal for those seeking a relaxing break away from it all.

Stayed at a lovely cottage near RHS Chatsworth flower show. the bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect after long walks. the lack of internet added to the relaxing and away from it all feeling. the location was fantastic and the property had plenty of space. The owner went out of their way to check on us at the end of our visit. Cons: Nothing to complain about, it was perfect! 👌.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk away from the town center. The property was warm and spacious, perfect for a party of four. The open fire and log burner added a cozy touch to the cottage, making it feel like home away from home.

There were a few minor issues that could be improved upon. The single beds were a bit short and felt confining, especially for adults.
